Our Team

Ceasar N. Anquillare – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Ceasar N. Anquillare is the Co-Founder, Chairman  and Chief Executive Officer of Winchester Capital. Mr. Anquillare holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Georgetown University and Fairfield University). He undertook further post graduate studies in law at the University of London and has a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Anquillare has been appointed Connecticut’s Honorary Ambassador to the United Kingdom and European Union and serves as a Justice of the Peace. Mr. Anquillare also has served as an adviser to the U.S.Agency for International Development during the Administrations of the late President Ronald Reagan and former President George H.W. Bush. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience, specialising in international mergers and acquisitions in the range of $50m-$1.4bn.  Mr. Anquillare has served on the boards of private and public companies quoted on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Fairfield University, a Non-Executive Director of British American Business and the St George’s Society.
Richard Tavelli – Director of Strategy

Richard Tavelli received his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and his MBA from Yale University, where he previously served at the Yale School of Management. Mr. Tavelli has extensive experience in the analysis of small-medium sized enterprises and is a specialist in the consumer, healthcare, energy and financial sectors. His responsibilities include transaction strategies, research and execution.
Pippa Smith – Director of Corporate Communications

Pippa Smith is responsible for all investor and corporate communications. Mrs. Smith received her Bachelor of Arts from Nottingham University in the UK.  She has worked extensively in marketing, education and personnel in the UK, Australia, France and Spain.  Her responsibilities include coordinating and executing communications to and from clients, communications with acquisition targets, buyers, sellers and other investors.  Mrs. Smith also manages compliance for Confidentiality Agreement process, as well as executing all translation requirements for transaction documentation and communications. She is fluent in French, Spanish, German and Italian.
Gillian Nixon- Comptroller

Ms. Nixon oversees all financial and IT operations for Winchester Capital. She has broad domestic and international experience and is responsible for the fiscal operations of the firm in the USA and the UK. Ms. Nixon joined Winchester in 2003. She attended Southampton University.
Andrew Mitchell QC – Chairman

Andrew Mitchell is Chairman of Winchester Capital‘s affiliate in the United Kingdom. An attorney at law (Barrister) since 1976, Mr. Mitchell was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1998. He has a distinguished legal career in commercial conduct and corporate governance. Mr. Mitchell has been active on boards of international companies and was formerly the Chairman of Burn Stewart Limited (Scotland). He is familiar with the banking and insurance industries and serves as legal adviser to private clients in respect of asset protection and preservation. Mr Mitchell is a graduate of the Inns of Court School of Law and a Member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.
Michael Vincent- Executive Director

Mr. Vincent is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience as CFO of a range of businesses actively involved in direct investments and mergers and acquisitions. He served as CFO for the North American division of Caradon plc and also Finance Director of Ascot plc, two companies listed on The London Stock Exchange. Mr. Vincent was previously with KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served as CFO of the Business Process Outsourcing division, a substantial multinational business. More recently, Mr. Vincent was Co-Founder and Finance Director of Restore plc, a Support Services group. Mr. Vincent holds a Masters Degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
